This company produces some very special parts for the M-1911. Here is what you can add to your baby, to make it more functional (and beautiful):

Barrel Bushings

This company must be producing the largest variety of barrel bushings in the industry. As you can see there are three bevel types (square, melted, carry bevel), two flange thicknesses (standard 0.092" and thick 0.125"), three possible outside diameters, five different bore sizes/shapes. They are available for all 1911 models (Government, Commander and Officers) in either blue or stainless steel. Oh yes, they also have an STI-style bushing too. A logistics nightmare, but it's next to impossible not to find a barrel bushing that you like here.

Extractors

Again, EGW sells three different extractor types. The standard extrators, AFTEC extractors and a SIG-style external extractor.

Reverse Plugs

Reverse plugs from EGW are designed for easy installation and increased performance. Made from thick steel (not lead alloy) to eliminate cracking, the rounded shoulder is extended for added support with no exposed area where cracks can occur.

Mag Wells

A special design for 1911 models is the new huge opening Drop-on Well that provides the largest opening in the industry! Other designs are also available.

Trigger group parts

Various trigger parts, like hammers, sears, disconnectors, and a special firing pin stop, which has a square bottom, as some experts suggest to be used on the 1911.
